Rouzbeh Pirouz

CEO

Rouzbeh was the Co-Founder of Mondus, a pioneering European e-commerce firm which was acquired by a subsidiary of Telecom Italia generating significant returns for leading investment firms like 3i.   He subsequently founded Pelican Partners, driving high-ROI investments across capital markets, private equity, and digital assets. He went on to found and build an emerging markets fund management business with an AUM in excess of $500 million. A Rhodes Scholar at Oxford and graduate of Stanford and Harvard, he was recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader and brings global experience and a visionary approach to financial innovation.

Yevgeny Bebnev

Chief Investment Officer

An investment manager and trader with over 20 years of experience across traditional and digital asset markets. Prior to joining Pelican, Yevgeny held leadership roles at ICAP and BGC in London before founding Alaris Capital, a pioneering multi-manager digital assets platform focused on market-neutral and structured strategies. His earlier career includes time at a leading London-based hedge fund, specializing in macro commodity strategies and contributing over $300 million in trading profits on $500 million AUM. A trailblazer in carbon trading since the Kyoto Protocol, he has applied a disciplined, crypto-native investment approach since 2013. Yev holds an Executive MBA from London Business School.

Christopher Scanlan

CFO & COO

A strategic CFO with 18+ years in capital markets, fintech, and digital assets, Christopher began his career at Barclays Capital and UBS before leading financial strategy, investor engagement, and operational growth for fintech and digital asset platforms. Educated in Australia, with credentials from MIT Sloan and Imperial College, he brings to Pelican a strong foundation in institutional finance, capital formation, and operational execution — driving the firm’s financial strategy and investor engagement at scale.

Eddie Kerman

Chief Legal Officer

Eddie Kerman is a seasoned lawyer and family office adviser specializing in working with high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs), family-owned businesses, and professionals in financial and professional services for nearly 20 years. Eddie has held executive and board roles at Pelican Partners, a leading family office, where he has advised owner-entrepreneurs, particularly those with a focus on emerging markets and the financial services sector. His work encompasses strategy, compliance, risk management, and relationship building across Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Heis a UK and Irish-qualified solicitor with a background in corporate law, litigation, and private client advisory. He has a degree in International Relations from Brown University.​
